Position Description

Security clearance: Must be able to meet the requirements for obtaining a reliability level clearance.

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand user needs and translate them into exceptional UI/UX experiences.
• Conduct user research (surveys, interviews, usability testing) to gather user insights and inform design decisions.
• Design user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using Figma.
• Ensure UI elements and interactions are consistent, intuitive, and accessible across all devices.
• Translate design concepts into production-ready assets for developers, including style guides and component libraries.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest UI/UX design trends and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and provide design feedback to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Advocate for user-centered design principles within the development team.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Cross functional meeting/session facilitator.
• 6+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer with a strong focus on user experience (UX).
• Proven track record of designing and implementing complex user interfaces for SPAs.
• In-depth knowledge of design principles like user research, information architecture, interaction design, and visual design.
• Expertise in ReactJS and understanding of web development concepts.
• Mastery of Figma for design prototyping and collaboration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on user-centered design.
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating aesthetically pleasing and functional user interfaces.
• Portfolio showcasing your design process and successful projects, particularly those using ReactJS and Figma.
• Experience with other design tools (e.g., Sketch, Adobe XD).
• Experience with accessibility guidelines (WCAG).
• Understanding of front-end development frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Material-UI).

Additional

If the resource has full stack experience plus UX, would be strong match with wireframe experience to hand over to development in Angular, i.e. more technical.
