
Description
- Collaborate with Sales and Customer Experience teams to help federal, state, and local government customers use Figma effectively in regulated environments.
- Develop written and video content tailored to government audiences, including guidance on design systems, collaboration, and modern delivery practices.
- Build relationships across the Figma community with a focus on public sector, govtech, and civic design practitioners.
- Represent Figma at industry events, conferences, briefings, and community programs.
- Surface feedback, constraints, and emerging needs from government and regulated customers to inform product direction and prioritization.
- Partner closely with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams on go-to-market strategies.
- Champion users’ voices internally to help shape product evolution.
- Share practical, real-world insights with external audiences.
- Identify opportunities for collaboration and shared learning within the public sector design community.
Requirements
- Experience using Figma deeply in large-scale and regulated design and development environments.
- Strong understanding of modern product development workflows.
- Experience building, managing, or operating design systems at scale.
- Technical fluency and strong design judgment.
- A clear point of view on how design translates into production-ready systems.
- Experience engaging with the design community, especially in govtech or civic spaces.
- Confidence presenting to audiences ranging from small stakeholder groups to large industry groups.
- Empathy for public sector designers and developers.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, experiment, and turn ideas into impact.
- Willingness to travel extensively, 25% or more.
- Remote work eligibility in the Washington, DC Metro Area.
