We’re looking for a PM to lead the part of Figma that powers components, styles, variables, and all of the systems underlying the features that Figma users use to create design systems for their companies. This is a highly technical role, in which you’ll think about things like whether variant props should be combined with component props, and how component overrides should work. Because our design systems features are so central to everything we do at Figma, this Product Manager has the opportunity to not just move the needle, but accelerate us into our next phase of growth as a multi-product company.

This is a full-time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.

What you'll do at Figma:Talk to Product teams across Figma to identify and synthesize the highest impact design systems platform initiatives into a cohesive vision and strategy.

Work with our Engineering team to deeply understand the current state of our design systems codebase, identify areas of improvements, and define requirements to move these forward.

Collaborate with other Product Managers, Research, Engineering, and Data Science teams to gather user feedback on areas of complexity with design systems.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:4+ years of experience as a full-time Product Manager.

Experience working on APIs, platform products, or projects involving complex technical systems.

Experience successfully launching complex, user-facing products.

An eye for detail, both in terms of user experience and the technical nuances.

While it’s not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:Past experience as a software engineer.

An understanding of design systems.

Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, scrappy environment.

Ability to communicate clearly at different altitudes, including driving alignment with senior stakeholders.

Pay Transparency Disclosure

If based in Figma’s San Francisco or New York hub offices, this role has the annual base salary range stated below.

Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location. The listed range is a guideline, and the range for this role may be modified. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, the pay range is localized according to employee work location by a factor of between 80% and 100% of range. Please discuss your specific work location with your recruiter for more information.

Annual Base Salary Range (SF/NY Hub):

$149,000 - $308,000 USD
