Overview
As a Senior Payroll Specialist on the Accounting Team, you’ll be an integral part of Figma’s payroll operations, collaborating closely with various teams to ensure seamless coordination.
In Short
- Maintain, review and validate data for US payroll using Workday Payroll
- Review timesheets, attendance records and leave of absence pay
- Audit payroll tax records
- Process payments for final paychecks, adjustments and special pay
- Create journal entries related to payroll transactions
- Collaborate with accounting and finance teams
- Participate in audits for 401k and Workers Compensation
- File quarterly taxes and issue W-2s
- Create and maintain process documentation
- Provide payroll reports to internal departments
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-cycle, multi-state payroll processing experience
- Strong knowledge of Workday Payroll and ADP SmartCompliance
- Experience creating journal entries
- Experience recording equity transactions
- Understanding of US payroll compliance and taxes
- Experience building relationships with stakeholders
