UI​/UX Designer; Remote

Position: UI / UX Designer (Remote)

As a UI / UX Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing, user-friendly designs for web and mobile applications that meet customer needs and align with the brand identity of Our Code Lab or our clients. You will work closely with our development team to ensure the seamless integration of design and functionality.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and user needs
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts and user flows
• Design and deliver engaging and user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications that meet customer needs and align with our brand identity
• Ensure designs are accessible and compliant with current standards and best practices
• Conduct user testing and gather feedback to iterate and improve designs
• Work closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently
• Stay up-to-date with emerging design trends, tools, and technologies
• Assist the marketing director to create marketing materials for Our Code Lab

Requirements

• Experience in UX experience for multiple digital devices (Web, tablets, mobile and wearables)
• Experience designing mobile apps or complex enterprise applications.
• Experience using design tools such as Sketch, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Java Script
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• A passion for user-centred design and creating exceptional user experiences
• Either has completed National Service or is exempted from / not applicable for National Service*
