Builder.io Specialist: Design to Implementation (Figma to Live Site)

Job Overview: We are looking for a hybrid Builder.io Developer & Designer to help us implement design updates on our website (90minutesplus.com). We have established brand guidelines and design specs, but we do not always have pixel-perfect mockups. We need a partner who can take our guidelines, conceptualize the design in Figma, and build it flawlessly in Builder.io.

The Role: You will bridge the gap between design and development. You won’t just be coding tickets; you will be "owning the workflow" for new pages and sections.

Responsibilities

Translate & Design: Take rough wireframes or design briefs and apply our Style Guide to create high-fidelity designs in Figma.

Build: Implement these designs into Builder.io using visual editing and custom React/CSS code where necessary.

Maintain: Ensure all builds are responsive, pixel-perfect, and adhere to our design system.

Requirements

1. Must-Have: Expert proficiency in Builder.io (custom models, sections, and symbols).

2. Must-Have: Strong design skills in Figma (Auto-layout, components, libraries).

3. Must-Have: Ability to interpret brand guidelines without needing hand-holding from a designer.

4. Preferred: Front-end development background (React/Next.js) for custom component integration.

The Process (Paid Test): To start, we are hiring two candidates for a paid "Coffee Date" test project. You will be given a small design brief and asked to:

• Create a quick mockup in Figma based on our guidelines.
• Implement it in Builder.io.

We will select the best partner for a long-term, ongoing engagement (approx. 5 hrs/week).

Budget & Engagement

• Test Project: Fixed Price (Paid).
• Ongoing Work: Hourly (approx. 5 hours/week to start).
