English → Spanish Translator | Government Terminology | Excel + Figma QA

We’re hiring an experienced English to Spanish translator to localize a digital platform that includes U.S. government and public-service terminology.

Content is provided in Excel and requires translation, proofreading, and in-context QA within a Figma prototype. Accuracy and consistency with official U.S. government Spanish translations (e.g., Social Security card, government IDs, benefits) is essential.

Responsibilities

1. Translate English content to Spanish using Excel files

2. Ensure consistent use of official U.S. government Spanish terminology

3. Cross-reference translations with U.S. government Spanish documents

4. Proofread and edit for accuracy, tone, and clarity

5. Review translations inside Figma and perform linguistic QA

6. Flag UI/UX issues caused by translation (overflow, truncation, etc.)

Requirements

1. Native or fluent Spanish

2. Strong English skills

3. Proven experience translating government, legal, or technical content

4. Familiarity with U.S. government terms and institutions

5. Experience working with Excel-based translations

6. Comfortable reviewing content in Figma

7. High attention to detail
