Figma Product Designer for AI-Powered Restaurant Menu

We are looking for Figma designer to create 2 workflows. Please read the below high level specs to understand what we are building.

We are building a next-generation restaurant menu experience that helps customers decide what to order faster and more confidently by using visuals, motion, and simplicity—not text-heavy PDFs or cluttered POS menus.

This is a mobile-first, QR-based menu designed for real people in real restaurants: adults, kids, and seniors. The experience should feel intuitive, visual, and playful, closer to flipping through Instagram than navigating a traditional app.

We are looking for a strong product designer to design the full UX/UI in Figma, including two core user flows:

1. Restaurant Owner / Admin setup flow

2. Customer browsing & ordering flow

This is a greenfield product with a clear PRD and vision, but we want your design thinking and interaction instincts.

• Designed to reduce decision fatigue

• Works without POS integration (QR-based flow)

Key design principle

If a first-time user opens the menu, they should instantly understand how to use it without instructions.

• Card-based or feed-based layouts encouraged

• Avoid modern Material Design patterns that hide navigation
• Navigation should be visible, obvious, and discoverable

• Clear fonts
• Large touch targets
• Easy back/forward navigation
