Figma UI Implementation Specialist — Spec-Driven, Zero-Interpretation (Institutional System)

Overview

We are hiring a Figma UI Implementation Specialist to execute a governed, institutional UI for an MVP system in the decision governance / compliance category.

This is not a product design role. This is not UX exploration. This is not creative work.

You will be implementing a predefined UI specification exactly, with zero interpretation, zero optimization, and zero design opinions.

If you enjoy precision, restraint, and building exactly what is specified — this role is a strong fit. If you enjoy improving UX, rethinking flows, or adding your own ideas — this role is not a fit.

What You Will Be Doing

• Recreate a written institutional UI specification in Figma exactly
• Implement:
• Color tokens
• Typography system
• Spacing and grid
• Locked component library
• MVP screens
• Treat Figma as a binding contract, not a design canvas
• Follow strict naming conventions and component discipline
• Apply copy verbatim (copy accuracy is critical)
• Ask clarifying questions instead of guessing
• Prepare the file for a formal UI freeze

What You Will NOT Be Doing

• No UX research
• No user journeys
• No redesigns
• No “improvements”
• No visual exploration
• No alternative versions
• No design opinions

Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)

You must have

• Strong experience implementing design systems in Figma
• Demonstrated ability to work from written specifications
• Comfort with pixel-perfect, copy-exact execution
• Experience with component libraries and variants
• Attention to detail at the level of:
• spelling
• spacing
• hierarchy
• consistency
• A working style that prioritizes compliance over creativity

Strongly Preferred Background

Experience in one or more of the following domains is a plus:

• Fintech
• Compliance / RegTech
• Legal or governance software
• Healthcare administration systems
• Enterprise internal tools
• Regulated or audit-sensitive platforms

Evaluation Process

Shortlisted candidates will be given a small, neutral Figma implementation test to verify:

• Fidelity to spec
• Copy accuracy
• Zero interpretation
• Component discipline

This is a pass / fail test.
