Native Spanish (Spain) Proofreader & Copy Editor (Review in Figma)

We are looking for a native Spanish proofreader (Castellano/Spain) to review and polish our product content for the Spanish market.

We already have the translated text for our marketing materials and product graphics. We need a meticulous proofreader to ensure the grammar is perfect, the tone is natural, and the content is culturally appropriate for Spain.

Note: You will be reviewing graphics inside Figma, but you do not need to be a designer. You only need to use the "Comment" function to point out errors or suggestions.

Scope of Work

1. Text Proofreading (Word/Google Doc)

Review the provided Spanish translation of our product text (Title, Key Features, Description).

Correct any grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, or awkward phrasing.

Dialect Check: Ensure the text is written in European Spanish (Castellano), not Latin American Spanish.

Ensure the tone is professional and persuasive.

2. Visual Proofreading (In Figma)

Open our shared Figma file to view the images and layout.

Read the Spanish text inside the graphics to check for context and spacing.

Task: If you see a typo, awkward line break, or text that is too long for the design, simply leave a comment on that specific area in Figma for our designers to fix.

3. Localization Check

Verify that units of measurement are correct for Spain (e.g., using commas for decimals like 1,5 and metric units).

Ensure specific Spanish punctuation is used correctly (e.g., inverted question marks ¿ and exclamation points ¡ at the start of sentences).

Requirements

Native Spanish Speaker (Spain): You must be a native speaker from Spain.

Proofreading Excellence: You have a sharp eye for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors.

Basic Tech Comfort: You are comfortable opening a link to Figma and using the "Comment" tool (it is very simple).

Amazon Experience (Optional): Familiarity with Amazon listings is a plus, but not required. High-quality writing is the priority.

Deliverables

Corrected Text: A document with corrections clearly marked (e.g., using "Track Changes" or a clear list).

Figma Comments: Annotations directly on the designs in Figma highlighting any errors in the graphics.
