UI/UX Designer for Music + Podcast Platform (Web App) — Figma Deliverables

Overview

We’re building a web platform for fans to discover/purchase/stream music & podcasts, and for artists/labels/podcast creators to manage their pages and content (albums, singles, videos, events, playlists, etc.). We have a detailed site map outlining roles, pages, and flows.

This contract is UI/UX design only

What you’ll design (high-level scope)

Fan-facing

Homepage + discovery/search experience (exploratory grids, categories like trending/genres/styles/eras).

Fan signup/login, email verification, optional 2FA, account settings.

Artist/Creator

Artist/Creator pages: home, about, albums/EPs, singles/tracks, videos, events, store, and social links/hyperlinks.

Purchase portal flow(s) and basic streaming UI (artist/creator controls stream length).

Creator-facing dashboards (desktop-first)

Artist dashboard + Label dashboard + Podcast dashboard: login info, profile info, payments/billing/receipts, content management (add/edit/delete, appearance order).

Page theming controls (background can be gif, colors, text) for home + album/single/video/playlist pages.

Social/media hyperlinks management with per-page visibility settings.

Preview / Publish pattern across editable pages (editing only from PC).

Deliverables (Figma)

IA review + key user flows (fan signup/login/2FA, creator signup/verification, purchase flow, content management).

Low-fi wireframes for all core templates (fan + creator dashboards)

High-fi UI designs + clickable prototype for primary flows

Design system (components, typography, spacing, form states, empty/loading/error states)

Developer handoff-ready annotations/spec notes (still design-only)

Requirements

Strong portfolio in web app UI/UX (marketplaces, media platforms, or creator tools a plus)

Expert in Figma (auto-layout, components/variants, libraries)

Comfortable designing desktop-first dashboards + responsive fan-facing pages

Accessibility-minded (WCAG-friendly patterns)
