UpworkShare this job:
We’re building a web-based application used to operate a piece of lab equipment.
We’re looking for a UI/UX designer to create Figma mockups for a small number of screens and reusable components. The goal is to give our developers a clear visual and layout reference,.
This is a small, fixed-scope engagement (estimated 5–10 hours).
Scope of Work
You’ll design mockups for a limited set of screens, including:
- Main dashboard
- A visual layout representing the system and its components
- Clear “active / inactive” states
- Method editor
- Table-style layout for a sequence of steps
- Simple parameter editing dialogs
- Diagnostics view
- Reuse the main visual layout
- Simple pass/fail indicators
- A few basic supporting screens
- Run history (table)
- Simple login screen
We don’t need detailed interaction design or pixel-perfect polish — just clean, readable layouts and component definitions that developers can implement.
Deliverables
- A Figma file containing:
- Page layouts
- Reusable components
- Basic state variations (e.g., active vs inactive)
- Light notes inside Figma for developer handoff where helpful
What We’re Looking For
- Strong UI/UX fundamentals
- Experience delivering Figma designs to developers
- Comfort designing practical, non-marketing interfaces
