UI/UX Figma Web Designer for Ecommerce (Hourly work – No Agencies)

Description

We’re looking for an experienced UI/UX Web Designer to rapidly design multiple ecommerce websites using the same core theme template.

This role is purely design-focused — layout, spacing, typography, and UX.

No development work. No custom coding.

IMPORTANT

We are only hiring individual, hourly independent contractors.

No agencies. No teams. No subcontracting.

Responsibilities

• Design homepage, collection, and product page layouts in Figma
• Customize typography, spacing, color, and visual hierarchy per brand
• Adapt a shared theme system across multiple brands while maintaining consistency
• Ensure clean, conversion-focused desktop and mobile UX
• Create clear Figma files and handoff notes for the Shopify Developer
• Iterate quickly based on feedback and launch timelines

Requirements

• 3+ years of UI/UX design for ecommerce websites
• Strong proficiency in Figma (required)
• Experience designing within existing templates or design systems
• Excellent eye for layout, spacing, and conversion-focused UX
• Experience with premium or high-AOV brands preferred
