Location: Remote (Global)
Weekly Commitment: ~10 hours per week (project-based)
About NuMarket
NuMarket is a growth platform that helps small businesses transform their fans and communities into their financiers. We empower businesses to raise capital and scale by enabling them to offer credits toward the business exchange for upfront funding. Our user-friendly platform simplifies the fundraising process, connecting brands with the capital they need to expand—and allowing loyal customers to become partners in their growth.
As we continue to evolve and enhance our product offerings, we’re seeking a skilled UX/UI Designer to help create seamless and engaging user experiences for the businesses and communities we serve.
Position Overview
We’re looking for a UX/UI Designer to join our remote team on a project-based, part-time basis (approximately 10 hours per week). This role is ideal for someone with significant Figma expertise and experience designing for no-code platforms (e.g., Bubble). You’ll be collaborating within a small, agile team in a startup environment, where flexibility, innovation, and user-centered thinking are critical.
Key Responsibilities
- User-Centric Design: Develop intuitive user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that empower both businesses and their communities to navigate the fundraising process with ease.
- Figma Expertise: Create, iterate, and maintain design systems, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups in Figma, ensuring design consistency and scalability.
- Designing for No-Code: Adapt designs for no-code platforms like Bubble.
- Collaboration & Communication: Engage with our small team virtually for design reviews and clearly articulating design decisions.
- Iterative Development: Participate in an ongoing cycle of design, testing, and refinement to ensure top-tier user experiences across NuMarket’s digital touchpoints.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional UX/UI design experience, ideally with startup or agile teams.
- Figma Mastery: Demonstrated ability to utilize Figma for creating and managing design systems, interactive prototypes, and final UI designs (portfolio required).
- No-Code Familiarity: Previous experience designing for Bubble or other no-code platforms, with an understanding of no-code capabilities and constraints.
- User-Centered Mindset: Strong grasp of UX principles, best practices, and usability standards to consistently advocate for end users.
- Portfolio: A body of work that showcases your process from concept through implementation—including examples of Figma and no-code platform designs.
- Communcation: Excellent remote communication skills; comfortable working within a small team, iterating quickly, and adapting to changing needs.
- Adaptability: Thrive in a startup environment—eager to iterate, learn, and pivot based on evolving project requirements and user feedback.
What We Offer
- Remote Flexibility: Work from anywhere with a schedule that accommodates ~10 hours/week on a project basis.
- Impactful Projects: Shape the experiences of businesses and communities leveraging NuMarket to raise capital and grow together.
- Startup Culture: Join a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your ideas and contributions help define our product direction.
