We are looking for the best Senior UI Designer with strong expertise in creating mobile and web user interfaces in Figma. We are a YC-backed startup where you have the chance to be the first hire on the design team. Not really a better opportunity in the world. We are looking for a hard-working, fast moving, visionary. Someone who can ship fast and take ownership of the visual project. We reward good, hard work. It's that simple. The details are:

What you'll do

• Quickly translate ideas into Figma designs, prototypes, and UI components.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to ensure high-quality execution.
• Help build and maintain our design system for consistency across mobile and web platforms.
• Continuously iterate and improve existing designs based on user feedback and analytics.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience designing the best UI for mobile apps and responsive websites. You are the best and you can show us that you are the best.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma with demonstrable examples of delivered products. Again I need to be able to see how good you are.
• Strong sense of visual aesthetics, typography, color, and layout principles. You understand whats currently out there but have your own ideas.
• Ability to work efficiently in a startup environment, delivering designs at speed without sacrificing quality. Fast. but also amazing.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate design choices clearly. I don't really care about this. You can also deliver quietly but have to deliver.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree related to UI/UX design.
• Live in the United States.
• You would be willing to work in-person when we get an office in the next 6 months. Office will be in Miami, Boston or Austin.
• You work extremely hard and are comfortable in a startup environment.

Preferred

• Masters degree relating to UI/UX design.
• Went to college in the United States.
• Fluent in English.
