Figma Design QA + Revisions Specialist – Final Review & Handoff - Contract to Hire

We’re looking for a detail-obsessed Figma specialist to review, clean, and finalize design files after the creative work is done—and handle all future revisions based on internal or developer feedback.

You are not designing from scratch. You are the final checkpoint before dev, and the one who ensures everything stays tight post-handoff.

Your responsibilities:

Review Figma files and clean up:

Spacing, padding, alignment issues

Auto-layout usage (fix broken layouts)

Proper use of components and design system elements

Typography and color styles consistency

Remove unused layers, frames, and design junk

Test and validate:

Prototype links, hover states, click flows

Screen logic and flow (mobile + desktop)

Figma Inspect values for developer clarity

Own all post-design revisions:

Apply client or internal feedback to existing files

Make layout tweaks, copy changes, or adjustments without breaking structure

Ensure all updates are reflected cleanly across all variants and device sizes

Deliver clean, final files with:

Internal comments for dev (if needed)

Loom walkthrough of the file

Marked “dev-ready” and signed off

Requirements:

Advanced Figma knowledge (auto-layout, components, variants, prototyping)

OCD-level attention to detail

Familiar with working alongside developers (handoff expectations, Inspect panel)

Reliable, structured, and responsive

Bonus: experience building or maintaining design systems

What success looks like:

Developers receive clean, structured, QA-checked files with zero confusion

You catch inconsistencies before they turn into problems

All future design tweaks and feedback are handled without breaking anything

You save the founder/team hours per week in clean-up and rework
