UX/UI Expert for Wireframe Refinement (Figma) – AI/Tech Startup - Contract to Hire

We are looking for a tenured UX/UI designer with expertise in Figma best practices to evaluate and refine a marketing website wireframe for Evolute, a VC-backed AI/code generation startup.

This engagement focuses on expert UX feedback and implementing UX/UI best practices, including frames, auto layout, components, and structured design.

The goal is to enhance the wireframe’s quality, structure, and brand communication in preparation for the next phase of high-fidelity design.

Scope of Work:

✅ Expert UX Evaluation:

- Provide a UX rating (1-10) on how well the wireframe communicates the brand’s value.

- Identify areas that need refinement or redesign and explain why.

- Assess whether the layout, hierarchy, and structure effectively convey Evolute’s mission and value.

✅ Wireframe Refinements (Figma Best Practices):

- Ensure alignment & structure (objects properly proportioned and aligned to a grid).

- Convert key sections into frames and apply auto layout where appropriate.

- Create and organize components for reusability and consistency.

- Standardize font sizes, object dimensions, and section hierarchy (Hero, Capabilities, etc.).

- Define and apply text styles (H1, H2, etc.) consistently across the design.

- Ensure placeholder images and sections are proportionate and well-structured.

Ideal Candidate:

- Strong experience in UX/UI design for marketing websites.

- Proficient in Figma and UX best practices (auto layout, frames, components, text styles).

- Experience working with tech startups, AI, or SaaS companies preferred.

- Ability to provide clear, actionable feedback on branding and user experience.

Next Steps & Future Work:

This project is a preliminary refinement phase. A separate, higher-budget design phase will follow, and those who contribute to this refinement will have priority consideration for the full design project.
